The Uganda Mathematical Society (UMS) is organizing the National Mathematics Contest,2022 . It is intended  to stimulate and develop the interest of Ugandan students in solving Mathematical problems.It  is also meant to arouse critical, logical, investigative, methodical and analytical thinking.There was  positive and health academic competition among students in  the main hall during the trials. The trials also popularized Mathemantics. The contest will be a yardstick to identify Ugandan students who will participate in the the African Mathematics Olympiad as well as the International Mathematics Olympiad,2022 .
