Welcome to the department of English language and literature of St. Andrew Kaggwa Gombe high school .

We are more than privileged to work with this great institution of the 21st century where English language is priotised as one of the most essential subjects in developing the future of ‘the child of today’. Personally I am honored to work with a team of qualified and experienced teachers of English language and literature who have exhibited high levels of professionalism.

Our teachers are more than committed to guide our learners to understand the skills of English language inoder to build their confidence. As a department we are looking forward to boosting our Students performance in English language and also ensure that our learners excel at both national and international levels.

Our students have been exposed to I.C.T. which they have efficiently used in creative writing, Skyping with international students and research.

I would therefore like to thank the school management team for the step taken in creating a difference in Uganda’s education sector by creating a school with a difference.

To our dear parents please let us encourage our learners to practice the skills acquired at school in English language and literature and together we shall ‘light the lump of wisdom’.
