THE GOMBE HIGH TROUPE.
This is an entertainment group managed by students and they perform traditional dances from different areas in their original versions and contemporary styles.
This is well equipped with the local accompaniments and ensemble. Students are trained not only to play the instruments but also value them as an ultimate source of employment and living. This troupe was hired, the students that subscribe and actively participate in it are paid.
They organize to meet some maintenance charges for their instruments and costumes. This helps them value and appreciate the talent in them and thus the school identifies, develops and promotes these learners talent.

This weekend, our school graced the 2017 East African Corporate League tournament that was hosted in Uganda for two days. This sports gala is participated in by different groups from the region of East Africa.
This year the teams came from Democratic Republic of Congo (Vielles Gloires and Les Epaves), Rwanda (vision 2020 and Malindi FC), Kenya (UN corporate and Nairobi Corporate team), Burundi (Kotoko FC), Tanzania (Tanzania stars) and Uganda. The event took place at different grounds.
On Saturday, 25th February, 2017, the Gombe Brass Band played at the officiating ceremony at Cricket Oval Lugogo, where all participants were caught by the sweet melodies and tunes of this vibrant brass band.
At the crowning ceremony on Sunday, 26th February, 2017, our school troupe gave a spiced cultural touch to the function with the melodies of the African ensemble and dances. This was at the Phillip Omondi stadium (KCCA stadium) where the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Uganda’s Parliament Rebecca Kadaga was the chief guest.
The two days event was well crowned with the entertainment touch of our own students. Hurray to the organizers, our students and all stake holders.
